The Atlanta Technical College (ATC) Library is located in the Academic Complex Building (the main building) and operates in accordance with TCSG Institutional Standards and COC criteria. It has a clearly developed purpose that complements the goal of ATC as an educational facility. This purpose is seen throughout the library and in the selection of library and learning services materials. The library provides dedicated space for print collections, computer workstations, and patron tables and chairs. Mission The mission of the Atlanta Technical College Library is to serve the educational and informational needs of its students, faculty and staff by providing qualified library staff, carefully selected learning materials and opportunities for its users to develop library skills to make them lifelong library users. In order to insure the delivery of quality credit programs, access to collections and databases from any location - within the library or remotely - is provided and equipment, technology, and physical facilities are continuously maintained and updated as needed. >> Back to top Library Staff Library assistance is readily available for reference inquiries and with patron records, circulation, reserves, and interlibrary loan processes. Library staff also coordinate library orientations and bibliographic instruction sessions in use of GALILEO/Internet resources, online catalog, print, and A/V resources. They assist library patrons in utilizing computers, monitors use of and maintains library supplies and assist in upkeep of all general library operations.
